Canfield Fair

We spent Saturday afternoon at the Canfield Fair.
Each year we are able to explore a little more! This is at our usual stop in Old MacDonald's Barn. There are all kinds of baby animals there and they will let you get ducks and chicks out of the cage to hold. Super cute but we literately either scared or squeezed the poop right out of this poor duck!
Had to check out the train!
I think this year was the first stop in the pumpkin barn since Zack was a baby and confined to his stroller!

They were pretty excited to run into Clifford. We were at this fair for at least 4 hours, the kids didn't ride one ride and there were still tons of exhibits we didn't take a look at.

Ox Roast

We made a visit to the Ox Roast Friday night. It's sponsored by a local church and features free car shows, rides and food. We met up with some friends and had a really nice time. It was like a preview night at the County Fair, there was hardly a wait for anything. They aren't serving the roast until Sunday but we enjoyed roasted corn on the cob.

Emily's First Tea Party!

Yesterday we were treated to a wonderful luncheon tea party! Meghan dazzled us with her event planning skills, the decor, food, entertainment and favors were absolutely fabulous! Emily practiced having tea with daddy in the morning, he later painted her nails.

We played sweet tart bingo, decorated picture frames, played dress up and took tons of photos. While we were being treated to a story featuring Princess Elliot, Mermaid Malia and Fairy Emily, Meghan printed out copies of our group photos and framed them for us. The bar for all future tea parties has been set VERY high!

Erie Zoo

We made a trip to the Erie Zoo today. It's a nice little zoo, I wish it were a little closer!

Visit to the Cabin

We went to the cabin earlier this week. While we were there, Greg helped his dad put in some insulation and I cleared some of the twigs and branches out. It's coming along very nicely!

This is Emily with Cabbie, isn't it cute how even the cat is camouflaged!

Happy Birthday Malia!

Miss Malia Mae turned 4 years old!To celebrate we had a family trip to the Lakeside/Marblehead area of Lake Erie.
It was a picture perfect day at East Harbor Beach.
A game of shuffleboard was enjoyed at Lakeside.
On the way home we stopped by the Marblehead Lighthouse so I could snap a picture.
