The lawn ranger

Here's Zack with his lawn mowing equipment. He loaded the wheelbarrow and the "grass cutter" in his "trailer" and knocked on the front door asking me if I wanted my yard done.

Little Cabin in the Woods

Grandma and Pap are building a cabin near Salt Fork. I think it is coming along very nicely! That's Greg on the front porch. He has camo on so you might not be able to see him :)
Here's a glimpse of the back of the cabin. I bought these stomp rocket toys for Zack & Ethan to play with and this is my favorite action shot.
This is the Salt Fork State Park beach. It was nice enough for people to swim yet my boy did not take his fleece jacket off the whole time.

Here's Emily inspecting the project of the day.

Not-so-patiently waiting

Friday UPS is supposed to announce the video contest results. Kirk shot the video, we sent it in right away and then they extended the deadline, so tomorrow we shall FINALLY know.

Finally the Zoo!

We received zoo membership as a gift this Christmas and we have been trying for months to find time to go. We stopped by the Pittsburgh zoo after the airshow for a quick visit.
Zack loved the map and telling us where to go.

Emily really liked the tiger!

These fish are so similar to Grandpa's but it was one of their favorite things.

This is in the monkey house, the glass is slanted and a monkey jumped over and sat on it so the kids had a nice view of his bottom.

We had such a nice time, I can't wait to visit the other zoos included in our membership!

I love dandelions!

I know dandelions are supposed to be weeds but look at their qualities, they are bright & sunny and they never give up. As a young girl, my Grandma Tollefson let me pick dandelions to my hearts content and now as a mom, I'm enjoying having dandelions picked for me.
